We have unfortunately had to ban Stuart Marsden, carp angler
from bolton due to his aggressive and unruly behavior to other members and to myself
We are now underway with our carpers
spending plenty of time on the lodge here are some pics, more to follow , of some of the 9 different 20lbs caught in one week.
We would like to inform all our members
that in future all Carp Anglers will only be allowed to re-join if they are invited to and not as an automatic right.
We used to run like this but in the recent years have lapsed this, but due to unforseen circumstances between our carp anglers
we now find ourselves having to revert to our original proposals.

We are the only fishing club that survived from the original Sunday Schools League established in the early
1800's. We are known as B.S.S.A.L. Mortfield Fishing Club. John and myself took over the running of the club in the early
1990's to stop the club from being taken over and to preserve one of Bolton's vintage fishing clubs.
